Do you think a dress up to the knees would be cute, but the only problem is I don't know what color to wear? It's this Friday and I can't wear red 'cause that's what color the bride is wearing..... It's going to be in their garage and the other half of the time will be in their house. I'm just really stumped on what color? My boyfriend's family is having the wedding and my boyfriend's sister said she'll probably wear a dress she already owns or she'll go and buy one and she said if she buys one it will be black... The wedding decorations and theme is Valentine's day. Please help!!! thanks

Pink? It would go with Valentines theme. But, some folks are not a fan of pink.

Are you Part Of the Wedding Party Or A Guest? If you are part of the Wedding then ask the Bride but a knee high would be perfect if you are in the Wedding or a guest. But you shouldn't wear the same color as the Bride I've also have a problem my Son is getting Married the 24th And I can't decide what to wear either.

Since the bride is wearing red, I would suggest one of the following colours:
Pink
Purple
Darker cream shades
I know, you're probably thinking the cream shade would be out but the idea behind that is that you're not wearing the same colour as the bride. Since the bride is wearing red, darker shades of cream would work perfectly fine. As for the length of the dress, I think to the knees would be an acceptable length but I wouldn't go above the knees.

If its a valentines day theme there are lots of colors you could go with---purple, pink (all the many shades) White (hey if the bride is in red than white is wide open)
I wouldt wear red because that is the bride's color
and a shorter dress is fine...just so long as its not too short :)

You can go with black as well, i am sure lots of people will have on their little black dress, it looks great on anyone. You can also go with a darker or lighter shade of red than what the wedding party is going to be wearing, or have a design on the dress so it wont look like theirs. Or you can go with dark blue that is almost so dark it looks black. It will work out nice. Go shopping and see what is in the stores and go from there.

Black dress with a pink satin sash that ties in the back. And you can wear it again. Pink tulle underneath to make it a little poofy.

Since the event is going to be in a garage and the house, I imagine you could get away with wearing something you would wear to church and which is already in your closet--nice but not really dressy.

Even though someone else is getting a black dress I would get one too. You can always wear it again.
