break it to him, seriously the worst thing that could happen is he saying some stupied rejection line, but the BEST thing that could happen is the person he's interested in could be you.If your close to his gf then i would lay off a while you should probly be there for him whenever and if its meant to be his interest in other girls might become dull if you start giving him signs that you like him once again i would tell him after A HEART BREAK OR BREAK UP.because thats when he will need his friends just give him signs that you like him if he doesnt catch on his problem not your maybe ask a guy friend of his if he is interested in you that way it might not make it so ackward.best of luck.

Well I had a crush on my current bf for a really long time. When he had problems with his gf, I was there to help. A month after the broke up, I told him "We're friends right" "We get along right" "We're both single right?" "What if I told you that I liked you?" And he said "I'd ask u out here and now" ANd he did. And now were planning our wedding. Be honest w/ur friend. U never no what will happen.

Good Luck

Seriously, women are so in control of every dating situation it's not funny. If you like the dude. Tell him. Don't lose sleep over it. Pull him aside, plant one on him and tell him like it is. Keeping your feelings to yourself won't benefit you. It sucks to talk to someone later in life and find out that they had a crush on you, and never said anything, too. So, just do it. You'll feel better knowing you were true to yourself even if he does reject you. His rejection of you is never a reflection of yourself. If he cares about you - he'll be considerate of your feelings either way.

Go for it.

have one of his friends find out who he likes
but DO NOT tell him while he has a GF.......its just a bad idea and chances are someone will end up angry or sad
but when he's single, go for it (before someone else does)

call him.. tell him i need to tell you something important that may not be important to you but to me it is... wait 4 his answer... u say: theres been something in my mind.... i kinda feel something greater than friendship towards you... wait for his reaction... if he denies his feelings towards you dont act crushed at all!!! say ok.. phew! i just wanted to get that off my chest! then just have a normal conversations... now if he says he likes u 2 then...i guess you can handle that rite?

If they are broken up then I don't see why it would be a problem. If he has a girlfriend now, then leave it be.
