So I've been trying to figure out what language this song is. It's very, very hard to pinpoint what language it is, even for someone who is fairly good at recognizing language as me. I've had some tell me it Romanian, some tell me it's Ancient Celt, but none of then were certain. http://members.cox.net/nikkisspace/03%20-%20Track%203.mp3 There's the song file. Just save it to your computer and listen. Any, ANY help will be appreciated! I'm really desperate for it, hah hah! It's a very pretty track, it seems Indo-European, but I can't quite tell exactly. Thanks again for any help. <3

Without a doubt the melody is European, and Eastern European at that. But the language does not seem to be Indo-European. If not Indo-European, then Finno-Ugrian: Finnish, Sami, Hungarian, Estonian, I can't think of any others. The articulation is so mushy, the arrangement so overblown, that it is impossible to make out individual words.

If you want to hear some really challenging traditional music, try Bulgarian polyphony.
