If you are serious with this movie, I'd invest in Final Cut for Mac or Premiere for PC. Get an instructional book to help. These programs have way more options that Windows movie maker. However, there is a lot to learn and no one would be able to tell you all of the ins and outs on yahoo answers. If you do purchase one of those and have a particular/specific question, feel free to contact me. I am proficient in both.

ALSO-- to learn about the art of editing. Read "In The Blink of an Eye" by Walter Murch. Not only is it educational, but it's entertaining and inspirational.

It means "type of file and program".
You need a file format.
Open it, make changes and exit WITH saving.
