I NEED HELP!!! i have to write an essay for class and i need info- there is nothing on the internet about this, so please help if you have anything!!

Nothing. Green plants don't require oxygen for life but they do require carbon dioxide. It allows them to undergo photosynthesis and thus nourish themselves by producing simple sugars in the presence of sunlight. They actually give off oxygen as a byproduct of this process. Luckily for us all that they do! Good luck.

..... one of three main environmental factors that plants need to survive is oxygen (along with H20 and correct temperatures). If no O2 is available plants switch to anaerobic respiration until more 02 can be utilized. (Not for long periods of time though)
