Ipecac for alcohol poisoning?

If someone had taken an extreme amount of liquor/alcohol in a short amount of time but doesn't throw up would it be acceptable to give them ipecac to induce vomiting and avoid a hospital visit?

No - you would need to get them to the hospital. Don't risk their life. Of course- they could practice a bit of self control as well.

Part of the fun of it is taking them to the hosp. Lesson better learned, you will no longer be responsible for their death too.

No .. my doc says never use it for anything.
