When I first was prescribed this I would sleep on it. After a while I was getting high, I got dizzy etc. I personally did not like this drug at all.
It did take away the pain, but I did not like the side effects....

Vicodin is a powerful narcotic pain killer,its a combination drug with Tylenol and hydrocodone. You will need to be careful taking this drug,do not drive or operate dangerous equipment,side effects include dizziness,sleepiness,nausea & vomiting,and its a respritory depressant.It may also give you headaches and emotional depression.Call your MD if you are having any difficulties,with dosage,or allergic reactions such as itching or skin rashes.Take care. Most people- sleepy and don't drive or operate large heavy equipment. Could have upset stomach.
Me- I stayed up until 4:00am and had to take Abien to get to sleep at 1:00am. Also had upset stomach and didn't take away all of the pain.

It should relief your pain yes, but it also has a tenancy to cause constipation. Take with food, and you can take mortin between. Not Tylenol vicodin is part Tylenol so don't take that.

some of the best pain killer around... and the most addictive on the market today...
follow the instructions to the t
dont use anything else with it
dont drink alcohol with it
infact, the more i tell you , the more i suggest you go back to the doc and ask him for something else...
this stuff is awesome for pain, but leads to a whole slew of problems later, because its so addictive...

It depends if your allergic to them or not. Side effects could include: Dizzyness, Tiredness, most people get a sense of euphoria, or a "high" feeling, nausea, vomiting, and constipation is also very common. Hope this helps!

It can cause itching and nausea. Make sure you take it with food and if you get itchy, take it with 25 mgs. of Benedryl.
