First God killed everything on the planet (except for Noah and his clan as they were good) because of sin. Jesus came down to take the sins of the world. And I just read by some Christian post that the lake of fire at judgement day (or maybe sometime after) over the globe is to cleanse the earth of sin and sinners. Wow, I haven't even slept with my neighbors wife yet and the whole world is going to have to burn. That sin thing obviously is much worse than I thought, maybe God could make a booster shot for it to vacinate people (he can do anything). I realize that God wants to destroy sin, but burning the whole world, do you not think that is a little extreme? I mean he did create the whole thing and is all powerful, can't he just wiggle his nose and it be all good?

I did not realize that I was supposed to keep track of it.

We are all equally sinful. Christians and non-Christians alike. God wiped mankind out in the days of Noah, because the bible says "there were no more 'good' people". That means that every single person on the planet had abandoned God completely, and Noah and his family were the only ones who remained.

In the end, those who refuse to acknowledge that God exists will not be welcome in heaven with him. Im sure that God could wriggle his nose, but he still could not be in the presense of sin. So everyone would have to repent, which would be taking away free will. There are consequences to every action. The consequence of giving humans free will was that we get to choose what we believe. If we get to choose not to believe, then we have to deal with the consequences.

Every person on the globe has sin. With one exception, every religious system wants you to earn heaven or nirvana or whatever.

The one exception is Christianity. We believe that the job was done through Jesus substitutional death and subsequent resurrection.

Why do you see fit to rip on Christians? Why not Muslims? or Hindus? or Buddhists?

By the way, first God created, then man sinned, then they were kicked out of Eden, then they procreated, sinned more, grew worse, insulted God, etc. Maybe your bible is missing a few pages/chapters.

You are correct in saying, "That sin thing obviously is much worse than I thought",

The great sin is the breaking of God's First Commandment. If you don't love God, then you will have to spend eternity without Him.

I take it that that is your choice. Your only problem is accepting what that means. Perhaps you should find out before it is too late.

It is either sin or not. It's like pregnant or not. It isn't a matter of how much.
