I wanted to know which is better, men or women?
Or are we basically the same, just with different skillsets and emotions?

We are equal in importance. We all know that one couldn't exist without the other.
Men and women are not equal when it comes to individual strengths and weaknesses. Also, men and women share the same emotions but they show or hide them differently.

Until the 20th century, western cultures have always viewed men as superior.
For the most part, men are superior in cultures, religious, etc.
It is changing really fast now more than ever, women are being more and more equal and even excelling men in certain areas.

As a male, I can answer this question in a matter of seconds, effectively completing a task without thinking if I will "offend" someone, or letting my mind wander about if my favorite sweater is going to be ruined by the new detergent I bought. I think that speaks for itself as far as time and effort are concerned.

i am a woman so i would normally say that women are better.
But if you think about it, women cannot survive without men and the other way around so I say we are equal.

As humans and our life we are equal. Everybody's life is precious. As for which sex should be superior in leadership in or out of the home.........it would be man. For God said that the man would have dominion over the animals and the woman. The man is the head of the church as well as the house. It was like that in our Great, great, great Grandparents days. Time went on and on and roles started changing slowly. That would be the fault of the man. Man voluntarily gave up that superior position and handed it to the woman.

Men - then - now - and always women are just too whimpy to even be considered. Except that dyke that beat the transsexual at tennis in the olden days but we always though she was a man in drag anyway.
