Islam. For awhile the Coptic Faith (close to Catholicism) was creeping up there but, now I think too many people are afraid of the insurgents in and around the middle East so even if they are Christian they are not advertising it.

islam ands it is not uncoma to hear of atacs on churches while Iwas there I had no truble visiting a church but the muslims seem to not like egyption christians.
