This is an ongoing debate that I need your HONEST opinion on.

I have had some say women are the more caring, loving, emotional, because they cry more and show their feelings,

but others say that men are just as emotional, but they don't always show their hurts.

Please help! I really need to know who is more emotional.
I need to end this debate we are having over here where I am at, so if you know or have a good opinion on it, I would like to hear it.

women tend to show more emotion or at least we are expected to be. Whether men hide their emotions or just don't care. We might not know. BUT I do believe women are more emotional specially when it comes to ses and relationships, most guys want sex, women like to have occasional sex, but what we really enjoy is "Making Love" feel connected spiritually with our man. Guys don't like being though as weak by showing emotion so they repress it and are acostumed to not showing emotion.

Short answer : I think Women

I believe that the emotions shown between men and women is equal...ppl only say that women are more emotional b/c thats like a big stereotype for women and men...women are more open with their emotions and guys keep them in...when thats not true...b/c i know friends and family and then few situations ive experienced where the guy in the picture was def. more emotional than i was...and im a female and i don't express my emotions easy...its takes a while for me to open up and show emotions b/c im all about guarding the heart. So i can honestly say that its equally put out by men and women...

Hoped this helped to settle your debate...hehe

Sex doesnt determine how emotional you will be.

Either one could be. I mean as a generalization typcally women are more emotional.

I know Im an emotional dude, not in a soft way... I get enraged by people on the road easily, thats a form of emotion...

Woman was made from man. We both have tear ducts. We both have emotions. The difference, at least in the American culture, is that women are allowed to show their emotions-good or bad (within reason), and men are not allowed to show their emotions. They are taught to "toughen up" as they grow up. That is why men are able to show more anger (within reason) than cry-to keep their true emotions bottled up inside. I have taught my son that real men cry. There are valid reasons for tears, for men and women. The shortest verse in the Bible-"Jesus wept". Some cultures allow men to show their true emotions-with tears, etc. I hope this helps. Take care.

I think both are as emotional as others, there are exceptions to every rule, but women are very outwardly emotional, they cry and get very upset when they are sad, they go into moods when angry, and they share their feelings very openly. Men are just as emotional, but it is always driven into us that we should be very strong, its just a manly thing, we show love in the private parts of our lives, and we do cry, but very very rarely, and we keep our sadness and anger bottled up until we cant take anymore and the dam bursts. Also, women and men are different emotionally in matters like sex, physical and emotional things are gotten from it by each side.

It varies. Guys can be more emotional about certaint things than girls, sometimes. They tend to be more touchy about some subjects. But the reason people usually think girls are more emotional is because us girls, we don't hide it! Men were usually brought up with the idea of showing strong emotions is being "weak". So my honest opinion would be, BOTH. Even though we can't see it, we really have to think about it.

I think that much of it depends on how the guys were raised. I think that men and women are about the same regarding their emotions (Not thoughts and interests) Some just don't feel they can express their feelings.

There are a few men out there who are emotional. But in my opinion I think that women are more emotional than men.

We tend to wear our feelings on our sleeves. Don't get me wrong, when men are hurt they show it; but not like women show their emotions.

I think they are equally emotional. Women show it more and Men hide it more. I think it's all because of the way each of them (women and men) want to be perceived.

Well in the case of our society today... I think Women are such as myself, we care more about things and produce more tears than guys. We cry alot about stuff. Men are more.. I dunno, more laid back and confident(some), and well, they don't really feel it. I don't know how else to say it, but that's in my opinion.
