My girlfriend and I are really busy, but I want to make a nice dinner for Valentine's Day. We both get home late, and I just want something easy, but still romantic, to have for her on Wednesday. Any suggestions?

cant go wrong with italian recipes, add some wine..for instance, do a caesar salad or a fresh green salad ( lettuce, caesar dressing, cheese on top or lettuce/greens and just some veggies, with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice. make chicken marsala. just buy marsala wine and add it to chicken while you are cooking it on a skillet ( about 10 minutes ) also make sure to season it with salt, pepper and other spices ( basil, oregano go well with this recipe) for dessert, get an angel food cake from a supermarket, cut it up, put some fresh or frozen berries all over and a bit of whipped cream. this dinner is easy, tasty and fast! enjoy !

Why don't you do take out from a chinese resteraunt or something easy and just use your time on the presentation........do like a nice cloth for the table a good bottle of wine if you both like it and candles, flowers, and music......that would be better I think....but if you want to cook you could always do Fettucine Alfredo........they sell the sauce now right beside the spaghetti sauce jars at the store you could do that and a nice salad and still do the wine and the atmosphere while everything was cooking.....if you want to add chicken just buy the canned chicken you get at the store and dump it into the sauce or something like that......easy and yummy! Good luck I think this is sweet!

Home made pizzas?
You could use gourmet ingredients, perhaps check your local delicatessan. You could make them together or for each other. Serve with a bottle of wine and it would make a very romantic night.
