Well Dude:
Since the 'lake of fire' is mentioned in a book that begins by saying most everything is written in symbols ....I'd say the lake of fire is a symbol.
OH! The depth of knowledge!!!
Let's see ....what could it symbolize?
Fire destroys completely.
Maybe ....hey, just maybe it symbolizes eternal non-existance.
I can live with that.

The fishing is not that good, but the temperature is perfect. I wonder where this lake is going to be? Is there going to be a river of fire flowing into it? And if not then it is a stagnant lake of fire, that is not good due to mosquitoes. If there are rivers flowing into the lake, where do they originate from? What is their source? Where do they go? And finally, do Christians realize how stupid that actually sounds? I myself and hoping for the lake of beer, I would follow God if there was such a thing.

The lake is doing fine. They just ran out of fire though. They can't get the funds to get the rest of it.

Going well, going really well. I think a few hoses burst in sector 4, but otherwise the fire lake is flowing and burning really smoothly.

It isn't yet. It is a fire to purify the world, and remove sin and sinners. The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.
