Where have you been living in a cave, eating pork has been Normal for several hundred years. As far as God is concerned GOD is a spirit and when you believe in God your actually believing in your self and jesus comes from a comic book called the bible copied from the first book written in England several hundred years ago.

the idea that the prohibition against eating pig is somehow health based is a gross rationalization. the proof is all around us. The entire non-jewish world, until the advent of Islam, ate pork and no devastating plague has wiped the pork-eaters off the map.....in fact, pork-eaters outnumber, and have always outnumbered those who refrained.
To claim health reasons is just silly.

Meat was put on the earth for men to consume, so it was only bad at one time for a certain purpose, generally it was perfectly fine to eat.

That is one of the silliest proofs I have possibly ever heard. All it indicates is that the FDA is doing it's job and scientists learned how to address that pesky trichnosis issue.

No, it only proves that we can clean and cook our meat better. The ancient people were dying of trichonosis, the same as we would today if we didn't butcher, clean and cook our meat properly.
