Italian dressing is a very good marinade. Also, any type of vinegrette works well. Another quick chicken meal is cooking it in cream of chicken soup and serving it with rice and a vegetable.

This what I do for baked chicken...
I use the following seasonings...
Onion Powder - generously
Garlic Powder- generously
Lemon Pepper - generously
Thyme - medium amt.
Lawry's Sesoned Salt- Just a little
Sage- Just a littlle
Rub all of these seasoning under the skin of the chicken. You should really "see" the seasonings..don't be shy
Next...cut up sweet onion and generously lay them on top
Next, you will need something called, "Better Than Bouillon" creamy chicken base (Jewel Food store sells this and it is great in recipes.) Mix a couple of tablespoons of this in hot water and pour around chicken (don't pour directly or you will take away all of the seasonings or actually, you can put this in the pan first.
Note: CVS Pharmacy sells really nice (not the cheap looking stuff) seasonings, like Thyme, Bay leaves, etc, for 99 cents or less.
This chicken will smell, look, and taste incredible.
