(making a science project, and i need to stick some twizzlers together and then marshmallows on top of them, but i don't think regular old frosting will work. I need something like glue or something.)

Simply royal icing 2 egg whites slowly add icing sugar until the right consistanty . the thicker it is the quicker it will dry and Harden sounds like a fun project. This is full proof

the kind they use on gingerbread houses as follows

Egg White Icing

3 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 (16 oz box) confectioners powdered sugar

In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Beat 7 minutes with an electric mixer until smooth and thick.. A good test is when a knife blade drawn through the icing leave a clean cut. Store in a tightly sealed container if you are not using it right away.

Try using merigue powder it can be found at any craft type store
it makes a royal type icing that hardens
follow the instructions and keep a moist towel on it while you work with it

Yes. Melt the marshmallows in a pot or pan, like rice crispy treats. maybe add a little butter?

try mixing powdered sugar and water together to form a paste...my mom used to use it on graham crackers for gingerbread houses.
