because they are shipping bombs to Iraq that are killing Americans. Using that logic, shouldn't the US military attack the USA because they shipped over 400,000 weapons to Iraq that ended up in the hands of the insurgents that are being used to kill Americans?

Despite the media hype - there has yet to be any official talk of military action from the US government.
And if you had been following the situation you would have noticed that they US is relying primarily financial strategy supported by diplomatic sanctions against Iran.
Since this sort of thing does not produce the ratings that a war scare does - the media is counting on your forgetting that they were saying the exact same thing a year ago.

If "shipped by the USA" means made in Russia or Red China and bought with Iraqi cash, then yes. But alas it does not.
