I would like non-christians to understand that only Christ is the judge, and every time some supposed "christian" says "you're going to hell" to someone, and they're not joking at the time, they're blaspheming. The bible tells us quite clearly who the judge is, and its none of us. We are told in the bible that He will judge by the heart, and since none of us are capable of that particualar feat, we should have enough common sense to stop running around trying to pretend that Christ gave us the job as judge.
So basically, its a couple of loons who do this, so you guys should not be be blaming all christians for it.
Also, quite a few of us believe evolution and creation go hand in hand, so we're not all anti-evolution.
Another thing, I have never in my life tried to convert anyone, as we were told to spread the word, and as far as I can tell, it's done. If I ever happen to meet someone who tells me they never heard of Jesus and want me to tell the, certainly I will, but I find it kind of stupid to run around telling people who already know, and don't accept Him. I can't make anyone accept HIm, that's not my job and I couldn't do it if I tried, which I have no intention of doing. So all these times I hear how we're shoving our religion down your thoats, its not the majority of us.

The bible does not carry forth hatred, it is basically that some human beings use the bible with a view to sell it. the certainty is that we are all sinners, meaning we are all unrighteous - i.e. "evil". Sin is sin, that's all. some preaching the "word of God" are incredibly basically self-righteous and hateful people who've forgotten that they are not greater valuable than all people else. God isn't attracted to destroying human beings. He needs to help them. He needs to repair them. Muslims choose Jesus. We wouldn't have abortions, yet whilst somebody has, they are no worse than the different sinner, even with what some Christians would have you ever suspect. it is the undesirable reality that the comparable people who locate Jesus finally end up becomming the main reason individuals do no longer p.c. something to do with Him. So, quite, i'm announcing the justifications for the hatred is by using the fact a lot of Christians are basically terrible human beings. Like all and sundry else.

I'd just like them to know that not all of us take every word in the Bible literally, like word for word. I'd also like them to know that not all of us are like some of the christians that say:
'Jesus is the son of God because the Bible SAYS he's the son of God so it MUST be true!'
Also, I have no intention of converting anyone to Christianity and neither do I have a desire to convert anyone to Christianity. I respect other people's views and religions just as I expect them to respect mine. I just want everyone to chill out and see the person - not the religion.
Peace out x

All I would like to say is this. I can't stand the misconception that christians think they are all wonderful and perfect and do no wrong and that we don't like non-christians. The "christians" that act that way are the ones who give christianity a bad name and make the rest of us look like morons. I consider myself a christian, but I sin (because I'm human) and really do care about others.

I would want them to know that we are not perfect nor do we claim to be. We make mistakes we say the wrong things and we will never fix that. We are human too. We can be hypocrites and thats why we need grace from God. We also believe in the deepest depths of our hearts that God is the way and we want others to experience the joy that comes from being his children. We do not enjoy being pushy or being called self-righteous but we are moved by something greater than ourselves and for that we will be unpopular in the eyes of many. More than anything we are forgiven.

As a Christian, it's not my job to try to force you to be a Christian. While God does want all His children to love Him, and follow Him, He wants us to do it of our own Free Will. I have NO desire to try to drag you kicking and screaming to the altar for Baptism. That kinda defeats His purpose. It's only my job to love you and tolerate our differences in belief. I think you are wrong, but you have a right to your opinion, so I won't try to enlighten you with my opinion.
IF they are right, when we die, that's it, that's all, we all die and nothing happens. But if I'm correct, when we die there will be a judgment, and they will come out the looser. What I can't understand is why non-Christians spend so much time trying to tell us we are wrong. What possible difference could it make to them What we believe?

I think that everyone just needs to cool it with the persecution. I'm Christian, and I have no problem with homosexuals or athetists. It's just not the way I live; it doesn't mean that we have to chase them and try to make them convert! To each his own; I believe in God, it's okay if you don't. ;) I wish more Christians shared my view!
