Selfridges have a whole range of edible bugs...from ants, worms, monkey picked coffee and really weird stuff! Would make a cool gift or a bizarre and slightly scary dinner party piece!

Take a walk down your local park you can pick up all kinds for free, a bit like a farmers market. Be selective, a bug here, a spider there, a few yards of worms, you know the kind of thing. get your little dibber out & take a bag.

Seriously - I did try eadible ants. They were given to me by a friend half way up Mt Kilimanjaro. He didn't mention where they were bought, but they came in their own bag. I suspect he got them in London.
Each was about a third of an inch long. Crunchy and tasted like peanuts. It's surprising what you'll eat when you're hungry!

At one point Harrods were selling chocolate covered ants, but I don't know if you can still purchase them. Have you tried a wholesalers in your area?

But I'd really really not recommend it… Civet coffee is nice though

from bugs r us i think that you have to find your own outside in the wild but i would stck to eating proper food
