Yes it's 42 to pass, 78 to max out 18 -21 year old req'ts.
However, it IS in two minutes. If you keep working out, it's not that difficult.
This old man (45) routinely pumped out 50 in one minute, and I"m a wimpy USAF guy :)

depends on age. But the time is two minutes. 78 for 18-21 year olds but search for a APFT score chart.

edit: I said 78 instead of 42, because you should always go for the top PT score.
(I don't even know my own min scores to pass)

78 is for achieving best possible score 42 for passing for 18-21 atleast thats what it was the ten years I was in
