Okay, my brother's nurse, (the type that comes to the house to help with medical problems ect) She was one UGLY woman, and i have found out that she's actually a man! (having to do with someone not locking the bathroom door when i needed to go badly..you get the picture.) NOw i'm worried about my brother, should i really trust his medical safety with this individual? What would your reaction be?

The fact that your brother's nurse is transgendered has absolutely no bearing on whether or not she is a good nurse. If you thought she was a good nurse before, you should continue to think that now. (She - not he - is the correct pronoun in this situation.)

I would be apalled and question them about it. If they have a license and are just that way, I would let them continue treating your brother. But I would make sure they have proper licensing, I am sure that this person will not change your brother in any way, except help make him better.

I would check to see if she even has a license with the state. If her license is in good standing and everything, and she/he seems like a good nurse, I wouldn't worry about it. That is freaky though.

I don't see how their looks has anything to do with their professionalism.. if they are a good nurse they are a good nurse.. what else matters?
