It used to be death,now it's more akin to being ostracized.

Dissent against what?

Since Christianity isn't an organized religion, there is no punishment.

If you dissent against God, He'll figure something out for you.

it's called blasphemy! and the only punishment, is DEATH!!!!!!!!

but then we all die!
