Pig's blood would only be appropriate if your brother were a satanist. An especially nice present for an atheist would be a copy of the Origin of the Species. It's particularly appropriate because yesterday was Charles Darwin's birthday.

I fail to see the connection. Being an atheist doesn't require pigs blood or any other blood. Atheist just means that you don't believe in god/goddess or satan/demons.

If you go to asian supermarkets, they have pigs blood that's been formed into a tofu-like texture. In case he prefers to eat it and not drink it.
