I am doing a research paper on our enviornment, and how different groups of people view it. How do government officials view the enviornment? How do the people who don't care view it? Who is someone else who views the environment in a different way?
Thanks for your input,

There are only three broad terms for placing people in a world/environmental view.
1. Anthropocentric-Human centered based on religion and economic ideals, sees the world as for them to use and abuse.
2. Biocentric-Believes all species have the right to exist, put human interest last.
3. Ecocentric-Is also a biocentrist, who understands sustainability, ecology, along with an economic ideal that takes into account extranalities of health, habitate and finite resources.

The environment is part of our home (Earth) and if we don't take care of it we are hurting everyone for generations to come. For example, if you had an irreplacable, high-end car...you would baby it and wash and wax it, keep it covered or in a garage, use premium oil and gas, etc.....so why don't we value our irreplacable home more?! We take advantage of it, rarely thinking of the consequence until recent years.
