Newquay is great for camping and caravaning but if you have never camped before I think two weeks may be a tall order. Why not mix both. Camp for the first week then take a caravan for the second week. That way you have the best of both worlds and it will allow you to decide if camping is really for you. Have a great holiday. Cornwall is fabulous. Enjoy!

Newquay is a beautiful place with tons of camp sites, but personally I would rather hire a caravan as I just couldn't stand 2 weeks in a tent, especially if it rains, you can get some good reasonable caravans too, get yourself a copy of Daltons weekly or go on line and just put Newquay cheap caravans for let, you should find something reasonable and good too, have a great time and enjoy yourself.

Rent a caravan - Unless you have a big tent. Reccomend Trevornick just outside of Newquay, 5 star site and they have Eurotents which cater for everything you could need, a nice compromise.
