It's only been 2 months, take some time for yourself and your kids, enjoy life. Spend the time you would normally spend dating and be with your kids, play games. After time, you will find yourself ready to start dating again, but don't hurry into it or a new relationship.

Well, if he moved out on you then he obviously wasn't thinking clearly or he's just a complete mensch! I know how bad it is to be abandon and left behind(been there myself before!) for something or someone else. The best way to find your happiness is to make your own! You have your children to love and play with. You have a home to come to at night. You aren't beholding to anyone else for your financial freedom. Hey, you have it good! Don't give up on the dating thing until your dead! How else are you going to find the right person for you?

You dont have to turn into a hermit just because of a bad marriage. There are plenty of good men out there its just most women don't take the time to find them. They tend to focus on the 1 thing that gets their attention and alot of times those things are superficial and the actual person is really wrong for them. The key to finding happiness as a single parent is finding that person who will accept your children as much as he accepts you. Sometimes people have to look for months or years to find that person so don't give up and don't settle for something less than you deserve.

NO WAY!!!! Get out there. There are guys that will except you and your kids for you are. I was there three years ago and a truck driver drove into my life and here we are married and happy. We are a family and you deserve that and so do your children, which is why you owe it to yourself and your children to get out there and play the field.

You deserve to be happy. That should not include being hurt.
Remember your worth and don't let yourself be hurt.
Be open to new ideas, new men and you'll see Mr. Right will fall right into your lap!
You may have to kiss a few toads to find your prince.
Good Luck

For now just concentrate on your relationship with your kids and get your affairs in order to benefit you and your kids lives. When your heart tells you it is time to date and when you do meet your true soulmate you will know when it is time.

Don't give up. Just when you least expect it, the right guy will come along. Just take some "self-time" and decompress for a bit.
