There was this guy I just wanted to be friends with. There was no chemistry between us and most of the time I was bored when I was with him. We had very few common interests. One night he told me he wanted to be in a relationship with me. I told him I couldn't. Then he said money would be no option if I was with him. That I could have whatever I wanted. To me this sounds desperate. Why would you want somebody to be with you when it is obvious they are not into you?

He isn't desperate. He just knows that every woman has her price and was trying to negotiate yours.

You didn't read the signals right. For many centuries all women wanted from a man was financial security.Hes going back old school to all he knows probably been out of the scene for awhile.I find it interesting how many of you get on peoples court with boyfriends who don't have a job and want you to support them. You should be glad he's not one of them.

Both men and women can not except rejection. The offer of money is real. He proble thinks this will buy your affection. For your safety try not to be alone with this guy.

Hmmm, money is the root of all evil.

On another note, sounds like he just wants to pay his way into your pants. You need to get a backbone and not let anyone disrespect you like that!

Some guys think that women will change their minds if they think that they'll be financially taken care of.
You're asking the right questions.... and yes, he does sound desperate!

Some guys think that money guarantees them a girl. It usually does, but not necessarily the girl of their choice.
