I think I remember reading in the New Testament somewhere that angels will be judged according to how good of a job they have done being our guardians. I've been searching for it for years and can't find it. Does anybody know of such verse?

Thanks you all. I don't know why I feel like I read this in the Bible years ago because it is the only book I read. I just feel like I know this to be true somehow.

i havent ever seen it in the OT or the NT..... Anything on Judgement will probably be found in Revelation. Find a 'modern' translation (NIV or NLT) and read up and see if you find the verse you are thinking of

Hi. There is no such verse in the Bible. You might be mis-remembering the first portion of 1 Corinthian 6:3, which states
" know ye not that we shall judge angels?"
That is the only reference to angels and human judgement that I know of.
Good Luck!

Yeah, as already stated, that's not in there, unless maybe it's in the apocrypha, which I don't really consider part of the Bible (sorry Catholics). That seems like something that you'd hear from a creative pastor who just wanted to say whatever sounded nice.

You are misremembering. It does say the saved will judge angels,(1 Cor. 6:3) but that means that we will agree with the judgment YHVH has made regarding the evil angels.

It doesn't exist. According to the christian bible, angels are not to be judged. They are used as instruments of judgment but are not the subjects of it.

Sorry. It doesn't exist.

God doesn't judge angels. They don't have free will. What God says do, they do.

Unlike humans, who are able to do whatever they want to do, regardless of what God says. Because humans were given free will, we have a choice in whether to obey God or not.

I know this isn't what you were looking for, but I hope it helps!

There are several verses in the Bible that speak of angels and their relationship to us, God and Satan, and when and by whom they will be judged. Please see the link below for more details.
