Need for daughters extra credit? Sad, but i want to help.

You need to break this down first. Use the idea behind the useful saying in algebra "BEDMAS" meaning brackets first, exponents, division, multiplication, addition, then subtraction. SO, doing the brackets first you would have to multiply 2103 x 123. Answer to that is 258,669. Doing the exponents after would mean multiplying 258,669 by -7, answer to that is -1,810,683. So, you would be left with this equation x=-1,810,683 - 3 which meant you would have to subtract +3 from -1,810,683 which would equal
TADA --> -1,810,680. I really hope this is the right answer as I had to phone my niece who is a teachers aide, use my 12 yr old, then check with my 18 yr old.

4 + 7 - (7 * (2 103 x 123)) - 3 = -1 810 675

I got it down to X= -1810675 = 4, but I don't think that equation is right. I've never seen anything with 2 = signs.

Okay, my husband minored in math in college. He says its a true or false statement and the answer is "false"

is a false stament is asking you is the x equals 4 and it dosent when you reasolve the equation it gives you another number so the anwser its no so its false

You can do it on a caculator but No that is defintly wrong! 258,670 And besides if it's extra credit don't sweat it

No that is not right! The equation is wrong.
What does this have to do with parenting?
Shouldn't you be in the math category?
