You could add chicken breast into it.

Here's a simple recipe I have for little "doggie scones" (basically little doggie cookies that you can give your dog):

2 cups white flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tbsp honey
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 cup skim milk
1 clove garlic (minced)
Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, baking soda and honey in a bowl. Add oil, egg, milk, and garlic. Mix well.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead. Then roll out to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 2 inch squares and place onto greased baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes - allow to cool on a rack, then serve!

You normally shouldn't give dogs milk products, but in baking it's ok since the lactose is primarily baked out of the sweets. You can also get some fun "doggie icing" from most specialty pet stores (and even some larger retail chains) so you can frost the little doggie cookies. Or if you're a better baker than I am (which is not tough), you can apply the same ingredients from this recipe to your cake. Good luck!

Do NOT put chocolate in the cake, other wise most human food in small measure won't hurt dogs. The main reason for not feeding dogs people food is it will build up tooth decay if you don't keep the animals teeth clean. If it is a one time thing just get a box cake and ice with soft dog food. Or a corn bread would be even better for the dog.

First of all do not make the cake with real milk. Dogs do not have the lactose digestive organ like humans do and may choke, gag or throw up. Use lactose free milk for the cake. You can put bread in it, or dog treats, or chunks of meat your dog will go crazy for. You can also buy him dog icecream and dog oreos that can be bought at petsmart or petco to go along with it.

My mother breeds Boston Terriers and I know a lot about dog feed having been in the game for lots of years, please be careful what you feed your little ones, no milk and I could list lots of other things, you could try a simple recipe like liver cake or some of the better pet shops have of the shelve cakes for dogs, do not choose one with any 'E' Numbers. - BASIC LIVER CAKE IS BEST!!.

my little dog loves green beans but ask your vet because the best answer is none-if you have to then go for some of the veggies-slaices of carrot cooked or uncooked are okay-I used either to train my show dogs which were pekes.I have a chihuahua now and she loves both-a lot of them aren fattening like peas and potaoes-and no corn-meat really isn't good for them except maybe a bit of turkey on thanksgiving-I fed all my dogs hard dog food and often only gave them a bit for a meal and kept the rest of their daily ration as a treat-as tempting as it is they do best with their own food-good luck-mellie

Generally, you should not feed dogs chocolate, onions or grapes (or raisins) which are toxic.

YOu could use goat's milk instead of cow's milk--that's pretty good for them, otherwise, the normal cake ingredients are generally OK.

You shouldn't give your dog any people food. It's not good at all for them! Go to a fru-fru doggie shop and buy their decorated cookies for his/her b-day. That's always cute!
