Why won't the doctor tell you if there are more? Call your state health department for more information.

Infection occurs through ingestion of food contaminated with fecal matter containing Ascaris eggs. The larvae hatch, burrow through the intestine, reach the lungs, and finally migrate up the respiratory tract. From there they are then reswallowed and mature in the intestine, growing up to 30 cm (12 in.) in length and anchoring themselves to the intestinal wall.

Prevention
Prevention includes; use of toilet facilities; safe excreta disposal; protection of food from dirt and soil; thorough washing of produce; hand washing; and common-sense sanitary measures.

Food dropped on the floor should never be eaten without washing or cooking, particularly in endemic areas. Vegetables originating from third-world countries should always be washed thoroughly before consumption.
Pharmaceutical treatments include:
Vermox
Albendazole
Thiabendazole
Also, corticosteroids can treat some of the symptoms, such as inflammation.

by no ability understand till you are attempting, heheheh. yet yeah, i've got self assurance all of us have some worms in our bodies. Gross, yet i think of a minimum of a few style of fluke. I examine someplace no longer earlier, that approximately one-0.33 of folk interior the US have parasites, and that, customarily from their pets. in case you ever have actual touch with a puppy, risk is quite severe which you will get a parasitic an infection. except you wash like genuine rapid after touching the puppy. of path, that does no longer advise worms. yet i do no longer think of that is that complicated to get worms invading your physique. in spite of everything, we do have openings great and tiny. or perhaps with the main sanitary and hygiene practices, there are lapses, and the worms do get via the equipment. quite at homestead, the place we are often no longer as careful as we expect of we are.

ascaris lumbricoides is the proper name. hook/long worm. once treated your daughter should be grand. tapeworms are the one to worry about (taenia sp.) because you would need to monitor the stools for the tapeworm head; and if it's not passed, it'll re-grow!

DO NOT ALLOW DOCTORS TO GIVE HER POSIONS, WORMING AND DEWORMERS ARE ONLY GOING TO KILL ONE PHASE OF THIS SYNDROME. This is one syndrome, "Body Bugs". go to www.wsvn.com, then scroll to "Body Bugs". YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Many people have this but under different diagnoses.
