I have white marks on my teeth which I thought was because I was lacking calcium so I practically drowned myself in milk for 3 months but it did nothing so i did a little bit of researching and I found it could be to do with fluorosis etc so I've come to terms with it because its unfixable. I would just like to hear from other people who have the same problem to just kind of comfort me. xxx

I also have the white spots on my front teeth. I was told it was because one of the cities I lived in as a child added fluoride to the water, which bleached my teeth. Dentists do have methods of whitening them, though, so if it really bothers you, that would definitely be something to look into!

it is fluorosis. Bleaching cant improve a little but not permanently. Try using a mouth wash with flouride like ACT> This will help make those white spots a little stronger, which can later turn in to decay. There are lots of cosmetic solutions to your problem as well.

Do you currently or have you ever ever worn braces? My daughter goes to be getting braces on inside the following 2 weeks and her orthodontist informed us that ingesting too pop or juice, consuming targeted meals or deficient brushing can intent white spots on her enamel whilst the braces come off. This situation can persist into grownup hood in which the cement had as soon as bonded the braces to her teeth. Hope this is helping...if no longer I'm sorry ask your dentist subsequent time you spot them.

Yep...it happened to me when they introduced floride into the water in NM when I was a kid. I think most of us of a 'certain' age have white spots from the same thing. We also have 'antibiotic haze'...taking antibiotics at an early age made a gray haze on our teeth...it's not a BIG problem, it's just there...theres very little you can do to teeth staining. (uless you wanna Zoom whiten your teeth and they may not work either..)

My dentist said my white marks are because I grew up on well water. There really isn't anything he said I could do. I got my teeth whitened and it lessened the white marks.

White spots on your teeth can also be caused by a high fever you had as a child.
