Tonsillitis is and inflammation of the Tonsils...since your tonsils are removed you can't get an inflammation in something you no longer have. You could have an inflammation of the tissues where the tonsils used to be but it wouldn't be considered tonsillitis. You could also have pharyngitis or some other condition that causes a sore throat. Strep throat is a serious cause of pharyngitis so it would be a good idea to go see a doctor ASAP.

Symptoms of Pharyngitis are:

Sore throat

Strep throat may be accompanied by fever, headache, and swollen lymph nodes in the neck

Viral pharyngitis may be associated with runny nose and postnasal drip

Severe cases may be accompanied by difficulty swallowing and, rarely, difficulty breathing

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

Yes. My mom was an ex paramedic and she said you can. It's an inflammation of where the tonsils were. With that can come what they call pharyngitis which is an inflammation of the pharynx.

Hope I Helped!

yes. What it is is an inflammation of where the tonsils were, the tonsil tabs. I've had my tonsils removed, the tabs removed, and now the doctors don't suggest I get my tonsil tabs removed anymore because of my age.

the thing about tonsils is that it might change your daughter's voice box, even though the doctors did not tell my friend, she ended up with wierd voice after the surgery for tosil removal. It's not really normally, but you got to treat it properly with special care because strept thoat can result and it can also affect the heart later on
