Been spending some time with someone. We've gotten kinda close and he's told me things like, "I love being next to you", etc. He made the comment, "It's the little things that make you fall in love."

That was five days ago and I haven't seen him. This guy claims to be a "closed book"...I think I may have scared him off or maybe he doesn't know what he wants.

Uh...Read the question. No where in there does it mention anything about him being in love with me.

Well, I know you and I think you're pretty crazy about this dude. In return, I think he's crazy about you too. The two of you are both stubborn, "closed books". Just be patient for once, kiddo. Besides, you shouldn't try to open another chapter before closing the current one. Are you sure you're willing to close the current? Sure, he's done some crappy things to you. In fact, I commend you and feel that you're the Godess of Patience. How you've survived as long as you have is beyond me...But somehow, I think you guys are strong enough to get through any storm.

The devil's best approach to you always involves flattery. Don't fall for it...It's just another lousy trick. You're pretty and men are always going to try and talk you out of your pants. Get used to this - and learn how to dodge it.

Good luck, kiddo.

This happened to me too with a guy that i dated. He claimed to be in love with me, and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. We were unofficially engaged... Then out of no where.. he fell off the face of the earth..

I came to the conclusion that he was a little "off " upstairs. I think he may have had a few screws loose.

Good luck sweety! I know this can really hurt.

Yeah, seriously - dropping the word "love" that early on isn't exactly indicative of a mentally stable person. Be glad he's gone!
