A lot of christians have a view of God like he's just a human guy who has human emotions, is immortal and has supernatural powers. He's like all the x-men rolled into one guy. Popular depictions of him often show him having a white beard and a stern face. So is that how many christians see him? Like a Dad who lives in the clouds somewhere? Where does he live? Is it a different dimension? In a castle?

God looks just like anyone else. except he has a hole in each hand. Little off topic but something to think about: The bible reads something along the lines of - How can you say you love god who you can't see when you fail to love your neighbor who you can see. Maybe in other words - if you saw god you wouldn't recognize him. Why do you think they crucified Jesus? Because they thought he was crazy for saying he was the son of god. they were looking for some figuire in the clouds or however I imagine we all have pictured it at one time or another. To sum everything up here...God or love has nothing to do with appearances.

The Son of God was a real hero to incarnate to a human. Image how is to to live in a penthouse on the top floor of a scyscraper and decide to go down into a rat hole to save the rats.

God is so much more than an x-man, God cannot be compared to lesser than He really is. He exists everywhere. He created the world and everything in it. There are things we will never understand about God because He created us and knows us better than we know ourselves. That way we cannot be like God, He is HOLY and we are not. I see Him as God of love, truth, justice, righteous, holyness..

God is not human. To be human is to be imperfect, and God is perfect. He is like a dad, but one who knows what's best for us. He lives in the Kingdom of Heaven.

God is a spirit. He lives in Heaven, a spiritual place and His Holy Spirit is in charge on the earth. Jesus is seated at Gods right hand, a place of authority.

no the Hindu Jewish christian and muslim God are all described in the same way though they may argue about it. God is beyond and out of reach of our understanding or attempts to describe God. WHat your describing are folk images. God in most of the relgions is trancendent of our attempts to label God.
