I agree they should speak English. When my family came (legally) from Germany and Italy, they learned English.
I don't agree with the army thing. A lot of them are malnourished and not physically strong enough to get into the army. And I don't think America means to them what it does to those of us born and raised here.

I'm sorry, no, I only want people that have a vested interests and allegiance to the USA protecting this nation.I want to know where their loyalties lie before they are handed a weapon.Illegal aliens from any country ,should not be forced to serve in the armed forces. They shouldn't even be here to begin with.
Many legal Mexican Americans have served bravely and with high honors in our military.

A lot of the people that are coming over the border in droves are not fit to serve. Many are too old or too young, many are sick, and many are not physically fit.
I agree that military service could be a good route to citizenship, provided that the potential recruit doesn't break our laws to get to the recruiting station.

Volunteered citizens make great a great army, if there is anything more polar opposite to that than enforced illegal immigrants, I don't know what it could be.

no, when you force people into the armed forces, you are not going to have a good army. sorry, but I also dont think that just because you want to come and work that you want to kill people for that country. so no, i dont think that anyone will agree with you.

No I think the lines of communication would do more harm than good. It would be very dangerous to have several languages all going at the same time.

I do think that could be one way they could earn citizenship, but it would not fix the problem.
the first thing we need to do is stop the illegals from coming in. Until we do that the rest doesn't really matter

I think they should at least know basic English before coming. But I think all the criminals in jail for life should be sent to the US army and should be the first ones to be sent to war.

Why would we want foreign nationals in our army?
I say we arrest them and instead of deporting them right away, we put them in prison labor camps so that we can get a good supply of cheap labor, and then we deport them after a couple of years.
