The Old Testament is all leading to the New Testament --- to Jesus the Center of all time.

God made covanants with many prophets in the Old Testament: Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, ... all of God's promises were Jesus --- deliving himself onto us so that our sins could be forgivnen --- so the New Testament is about the forgivness of mankinds wrong doings --- Now the last promise made by God --- He who accepts Jesus will have life eternal (Mind, Body, & Soul).

God gave me the Old Testament and the New Testament as well! It is the rest of the story! He said he would send a Messiah and He did! Have you even read it?

see this is the very reason why I choose not to fall under any Domination of Religions!! I believe in God and I pray because there is some kind of higher source that created us and everything around!!

But the fact that the old testament was changed was do to the more true facts of life and the world!!!POINT BLANK!!!

Think of it this way- The OT pointed to Jesus- all the sacrifices the Israelites had to make was forerunner to the ONE true sacrifice, that is Jesus Christ- In Isaiah, Psalms and other places the OT points to Christ- the NT is the fulfillment of the prophecies. God did not change- He was always love, will be always love, He is a just God and cannot stand in the presence of sin- ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD- He shows His love by sending His son to pay the price we could never pay. Many times His mercy was shown to the people that continually turned their backs on Him. The OT looked ahead to the salvation of man- the NT shows that Christ was the way to heaven, NO CHANGING here, just fulfillment.

I didn't know someone changed it. Jesus is the New Testament. He came to fulfill the Old Testament.

Jesus preached Isaiah. Isaiah preached about a suffering Messiah. Isaiah had much to say about the birth, life and suffering of a Messiah. Jesus fulfilled this prophecy.

I would want to change because the rules of the old testament no longer apply after the arrival of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. But if God said, "Here's the old testament, follow it" then I would do as he commanded me to.

My father represented this one well.

We should rename them, and no longer call them the old testament, and the new testament.

They should be the FIRST testament, and the SECOND testament. They are both testimonies to the revelation of God to human-kind.

The New Testament fulfills the Old Testament. It doesn't replace it. Similarly, the Qur'an fufills the New Testament and the Baha'i Writings fulfill the Qur'an.

So why did you accept the Quran? Wasn't the Old Testament enough for you?

I definitely want all of the truth that YHVH has given me, for He said I should study. His Son YAHOSHUA was killed largely because He did follow the "Old Testament".
