It means following the values that I learned as a child.
It means respecting others for who and what they are. It means helping others where that is possible.
It means expecting from others no less than I would do for them, but also no more.
It means valuing others as people and as individuals, and it means listening to their opinions and trying to undertand them before responding. That includes atheists, and scientists, many of whom think the two terms are interchangeable.
It means I accept the unexplainable as unexplainable and that means I accept that science is very often wrong.
It means I respect God, not fear Him, and that I should be thankful for the blessings I receive, and perceive.
The blessings, and my understanding of the failures of science, include my being able to write this today, despite my experience of having it determined that I was dead, and being left for dead for more than an hour. They include my being allowed for all of my life to use my hands to help in healing others.
Those "others" include both animal and human: a cat that four separate veterinarians gave only 48 hours to live, but survived five years after that, and, a dying old lady, after doctors said they could not stop her convulsive seizures. They did stop. Her heart rate and breathing came almost back to normal, then stayed that way, which allowed her to die in peace some time later.
It means I can be patient, and wait to see what the future holds for me, without fear.

It means that whoever is a Christian is a member and believer of the Christian dogma, as would a Jew be a member and believer of the Jewish dogma.

It means treating others with a measure of sympathy and respect; as I would like to be treated.
It means not being a programmed drone who quotes incessantly from Scripture, but rather a person that has internalized his spirituality to where he does not need to constantly "educate" others about belief, etc.
It means not being totally closed-minded to others' ideas and philosophies. It is not up to me to correct everyone around me based on my beliefs. I can share them, but I do not need to force them on people.

To me being a christian means a biggoted, racist, ignorant, selfish, pig. Something like Pat Robetson, Jerry Falwell and the german clown in Rome.

To do the right thing in bad situations, to pray for others and love my enemies, love God with all my heart and try my hardest not to sin - Without God in my life - my life would have no meaning.
God bless..x
