Yes, they were great. Unfortunately though most people don't realize your suppose to make an appointment this way the sales reps have time to see you and wait on you. Wedding dresses are soo bulky they can take an hour to try on 4 of them!!
Call an make an appointment before you go and you'll receive good customer service. I find that most people who complain about them- Rush in, throw a fit because they are not waited on the second they stroll in and demand to be catered too..... I have SEEN it.
My lady was great- she even got me a coupon from a mailer so I could get an extra $100 off the dress and the dress was already on sale!!

I had a good experience at David's Bridal. I got my dress, bridesmaid dresses, jr. bridesmaid and flower girls dresses all there. I will say a lot has to do with having a good consultant and knowing how things work beforehand. I found that if I was there on a weekend an appointment was a must but during the week I was able to show up without one. I recommend making an appointment though to be sure. I liked the fact that they have the same dress in different sizes so you can see how it really looks. Many bridal shops in my area carried many dresses but all in the same size making it hard for me to see how it really fit!
One other tip---I know you said you found one online you like, you should also know not all of their dresses are shown online so there could even be more you like that you haven't seen yet. My dress was never on their website (which was a bummer since I had wanted to show my best friend who lived far away)

I visited them last week, along with my bridesmaids, the designs and gowns were very different in the store than they appeared online and in the catalogs. The material was a bit cheap, but then it's good if you are on a tight budget. Also, the store where I shopped didn't give us the attention I felt we deserved. We had a scheduled appointment, but from what I could tell, so did three or four other brides and maids and there were only 3 consultants working - it was VERY difficult to figure out which styles came in what sizes and colors. Perhaps it was an isolated incident, but my maids and I are going to Alfred Angelo this weekend. If we get better service, we'll buy from them. If you do decide to go to David's perhaps you'll come back and share your experience. Good luck.

Yes, it is.. they have a great selection of gowns and dresses for bridesmaids. My best friend is getting married and she bought her dress there and I"m a bridesmaid and I found the prettiest dress there... Just make sure your consultant is on top of their game and get your colors for your wedding ready and tote along a bridesmaid so you can help out picking their dresses and you want to get on this quickly because it takes a looooong time for the dresses to get ready. My b.f. wedding is mar10th and my dress will be ready on feb20th.. so it takes a month or longer to get everything back, and plus you want some time because you might need an alteration and you'll need another fitting so it will be perfect. But yeah, David's Bridal is a good place to find a dress. Congrats!! and good luck!

I got my dress from David's and I did not have any problems. The service was great and I got discounts on my bridesmaids dresses as well. I don't have any problems getting the dress "off the rack". I figure I'm only going to wear it once and so what if another bride will wear the same style on her day. Isn't that true of all wedding gowns???

This is a tough question to answer.
They were the nicest people on earth to me when I was in there (my wedding dress did not come from here, but my bridesmaids' did.). I had eight bridesmaids who ordered dresses from there. The sales lady didn't do the best job of measuring the girls, and hlaf of them had to re-order one piece or another. Unfortunately, the top was discontinued - and she didn't tell me (or anyone else, for that matter). I realize things happen, but I was assured that I'd be told if something like that were to happen. There were some issues with getting their tops re-ordered.
I was told that I would have been treated "better" if my wedding gown had been ordered there.
In the end, it all worked out, but it was a real hassle for my bridesmaids until we got there!!

I have heard both good and bad when it comes to David's bridal. A friend of mine purchased her wedding gown there. Things she loved: the price, the selection. Things she didn't like: people who worked there sort of hurried her and pushed her around a bit, told her that she must put a deposit that day or she couldn't get the sale price (turned out to be a total lie), poor alterations. I think it all depends on the particular David's you go to. Try to go when it is not too busy, during the week and definitely not on a Friday or Saturday.

Many people will warn you against Davids' bridal, they are rude and have some issues where customer service is concerned. My suggestion for you would be to find that gown, check the brand and size you need. Then find it online at house of brides, we saved $400 on my daughters dress there and $50 on each of our bridesmaid dresses, everything has arrived on time and is very good quality.

Several of my friends have shopped at David's Bridal and have been quite pleased with the service. Make sure you set an appointment, because you will want to try things on and even though you may bring someone there, you need a fit consultant. Good luck!

They can be. Their service more than anything is what brings them down. Make sure they measure you properly, order what they're supposed to, and call you when it comes in.
That said, did you know that when you purchase a dress at David's Bridal, you are buying it off the rack? You are not getting a new, never been worn or tried on dress. That bothers some people, so I just wanted to sure you were aware of it.
