My boyfriend, of about 2 months, is completely being a jerk. So, today I told him he's got 7 days to straighten out, or I was dumping him. He said he didn't care. So, I'm going to call him tonight and give him the boot. Forget 7 days if he doesn't care, right?
Anyhow...I'm almost positive this other guy, Adam, likes me. I have small feelings for him. How long should I wait to ask out Adam?
I don't think Andrew(current boyfriend...soon to be ex) would care.

Aww..sorry to hear about your boyfriend being a jerk! But you're smart for getting out of this relationship now before you get even more attached. Umm..I'd probably wait about a week..just to let the storm calm down if you know what I mean..

You should keep to your word and give him the week, then after getting rid of him if you do, wait at least a week to go for the other guy, but why get in so deep? After all, youre only 13, you've got the rest of your life to figure it out and find love :)

Don't be in such a rush to get a new boyfriend. Definately dump the loser. There is no reason to chase after someone you only partially like.

I would have said, "**** you, later" the minute he said he didn't care and immediately asked the other guy out.........But this sound's like high school ****...........your current boyfriend, after seeing you with this guy, will probably get jealous and may try to get you back, but if he treat's you like crap, why be with him in the first place??

If he's being a jerk, he probably wants you to breakup with him because he's too much of a wuss to do it himself. But, it seems you aren't ready to handle a relationship either. You may want to just focus on school and friends for a while.

dump this prick first.and then don't jump into asking him out get to know him better become friends,then he'll ask you out.plus if this guys a jerk too you cna avoid that situation again.
