By sick I assume you mean throws up. Does the cat vomit after eating?

My cat does this on occasion. I've narrowed it down to 2 likely candidates. Hairballs and/or eating too much.

If your cat is making hacking noises then most likely it's hairballs, which can cause vomiting even with no visible hair ball. If this is the case they make paste which helps with this.

If the cat is over-eating or eating too quickly, I'm not sure what can be done about that other than lowering the amount of food given.

Also you should keep track of what your cat is eating the day she throws up as something you are feeding her might not agree with her.

If you want to try a simple hairball solution, offer your cat a teaspoon of butter a couple times a week, or mix a teaspoon of plain canned pumpkin in with her food a couple times a week. Both help to slick up the intestines so she can pass hairballs that way instead of vomiting them up on the floor.

My cat sometimes vomits without any noticeable cause, too. All cats do....but the fact that yours only gets sick in the morning is a bit odd. Could there be something she's getting into at night that just takes a few hours to make her sick? If you have any plants around your home, check those for chew marks. My cat will chew on ANYTHING that resembles a plant (including the fake Christmas tree) and make himself sick.

She might be eating something during the night that will make her sick.

What kind of sick is it? What does the sick look like? If it looks like cat food, they've probably eaten too much. If it looks like what you DON'T feed her, she's probably eaten something during the night from the floor, or a bug (insect). Clean up the house a bit more, if that's the case -- vaccum under everything, etc.

Have you switched cat foods?

There's a number of reasons why an otherwise healthy cat might throw up, that don't include pregnancy.

I think it could be a few things. If she or he has long hair they could be sick because of a fur ball. If your cat was able to have a period before you got it fixed then your cat could still be having premenstral symptoms. Your cat could be sick because it has an empty stomach in the morning. Your cat could be sick because of something it has eaten. Is she sick every morning? And then she is fine during the day and the evening, that is odd. If it continues I would request a blood test to check to see how the kidney funtion is. A blood test is about 100 dollars or less but it's worth is because the test can tell you how all the organs are working.
Your cat could also be sick because she has backed up bowels and it is coming out her mouth. That happened to one of my cats and I ended having to give her fur ball medicine every day to prevent it.

Could be she gobbles down her food a little too fast sometimes and this can cause retching of undigested food. Sme cats retch out their food if it is served too cold. If she does it only once in a blue moon and is healthy otherwise, maybe it really is nothing to worry about. My cat retched this morning - but I know it is from eating too much grass.

Are all of them sick or only one? Do you give hairball remedy? Is it undigested food? Have you tried different food? Do you leave food out for them all the time or do you feed the correct portion and then remove it after 30 minutes?

Try switching cat food. I give mine purina complete for my cats. Other then hairballs they are healthy. If the vomiting continues take her to the vet as iut could be another underlying condition.

Usually, which too long for me. I consider it depends on the guy as well as his face though. Certain guys can easily pull off long hair and others can't.
