I was up all night vomiting and now I've had diarrhea all day. I've had a fever of 100.0, a pulse rate of 119 (normally 75), I've been dizzy, headachey and I've barely been able to get out of bed.

I haven't been sick since I was a kid. What could this be? Should I see a doctor, or should I just wait it out?

You may a viral infection. Tylenol 650mg (liquid or tabs) every 4 hours as needed if you can keep it down for the fever and headache. Ice packs at the armpits and groin and replace as needed. Retake temp every 4 hrs and take Tyl until temp is 99.6. At that point discontinue the ice packs. You need fluids but drink sparingly and frequently so as to avoid triggering more vomiting. Increase fluids as tolerated. Keep your fluids bedside and get as much sleep as you can. Don't interefere with the diarrhea or vomiting at this time. When you have gone 12 hours without vomiting, introduce other liquids - broths, clear soups, jello. If your symptoms continue without any improvement beyond 3 days, call your doctor. Is there anything else I can do for you?

Well you could just have one of those 24 hour stomach viruses, however if it last for more than a day, you should definetely go see a doctor, and you should try to keep as many fluids in you as possible, because you can easily get dehydrated.
Once I had the same symptoms for a day and a half and eventually had to go to the emergency room. Later I found out it was caused by a severe sinus infection and I had become severly dehydrated. So even though your symptoms may be typical of a stomach flu, it could be something more serious that can only be helped my seeing the doctor.

You should call your doc and talk with someone just to be sure. But, I had that a few months ago. My doc told me to not eat or drink anything until I had gone 1 hour without vomiting. Then, just 1 tablespoon of water every 10-15 minutes until I could hold that down or if I vomit again, wait another hour. Oh, and no diarrhea medicine, either. My body was trying to get rid of a virus that was going all around the city and it took me 3 days to get fully over it. I left work early afternoon one day, missed the next day, and only worked a few hours the 3rd day, then I was fine.

well it sounds like the flu to me.I would suggest lots of rest and drink lots of liquids and take some Motrin for your fever. If you can't keep anything down try some chicken ramen soup, you need to try to keep something in your stomach, you don't want to get dehydrated .I say if this last more than 3 days call your Dr for an apt/Good Luck and I hope you feel better soon.

so far as what it is thats not really important at this point. go weigh yourself, if youve lost alot of weight you might wanna seriously consider some pedialyte or somehting. alot of the symptoms your describing are an electrolye imbalance from constant diahrea and vomitting
