The god depticted in the Bible is too childish and psychotic to guide anyone.

Wow - are you referring to Noah's flood? Wow.
I can't even believe what I'm reading. Look, you don't know why that flood happened, do you?
Noah was a preacher. He preached against an influx of Angels, who left their habitations on satans order, and came to earth to seduce human women. You can read of them in the only Chapter of the Book of Jude. These Angels were actually mostly interested in getting Noah's daughters to participate. Noah, of course wouldn't have it. These angels were marrying women, and children were being born from the unions, and were called "geba", which translated means "giants" (they were of large stature). This is why the flood was necessary. To kill this influx of hybrids, or geba. This is why in the story of Noah, it says they were giving and taking in marriage right up until they entered the Ark - marrying whom? These "fallen" angels. Why would satan order this, and why would God be so upset with it?
Because this was satan's SECOND attempt in this flesh age, to pollute the pure lineage, or bloodline from which, womb-to-womb, down thru the decendants of Noah, would come the Christ child. This was the one, main reason why God wouldn't tolerate it, although He had a few good reasons to be angry about it.
The flood came upon the world of the ungodly; I personally don't think it was world-wide, but just came to affect the area of the world where these hybrids were. It was absolutely necessary.
Before you insinuate that God is unfair and ruthless, check out why He did it. You'll find in every case, that there was a damn good reason.
PS. TO GASTOUNET: Remember that Elisha asked for a double-portion of Elijah's spirit;
This writing you give, is where Elisha needed to learn, very early on, the power he yielded.
The power of Christ Himself, through Christ, and it was absolutely necessary he understood it and repected the seriousness of responsibility that came with it. I'm quite sure this got the point across most vividly. If God needs you to know and understand something, He will be "all business" about getting his message into you.

Just follow the Bible.
Peace, love and tolerance, as always....
From there Elisha went up to Bethel. While he was on his way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him. "Go up baldhead," they shouted, "go up baldhead!" The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two shebears came out of the woods and tore forty two of the children to pieces. (2 Kings 2:23-24 NAB)

Are you talking about ANDREA YATES. IF so -
AS sick as this sounds, If you stand on the thoughts of the
innocence of children. That is what she did to save them from
reaching the age of accountability, thereby saving them by
killing them! Just about every fundamentalist Christian would
agree all the children are in heaven, by virtue of their innocence.
So onward christian solider!Kill your kids save them!

God's "kids" are old enough to make their own decisions. Why can't God's "kids" learn to follow Him??
