Every day when i blow my nose my snot has blood in it, and i was woundering why? Would it be cause its winter and the dry weather has me dried out? I don't have sinus problems, and i have been on antibiotics for a UTI, and i dont smoke, do drugs, drink or anything thats bad for my health. I do work outside alot, just woundering what would cause it.

Yes, your problem is most likely due to the dryness of winter weather. This happens to a lot of the population at this time of year. To relieve it, go to a drug store or discount store and pick up a cheap humidifier (about $20). Run it at night when you sleep. It will help moisten your mucus membranes which will end the bloody nasal discharge. This should solve the issue but, if not, see your doctor who can prescribe special nasal spray for you.

You need to keep your sinuses moist using nasal irrigation. I would try a saline nasal rinse (not a spray.),a full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot.

You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. If you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis.

Take it to the vet, that's all you can do. Just give him lots of affection and care until then. Do you mean that you got him neutered? (When you mentioned him being 'sprayded"? Side note- Female cats get Spayed, and Male cats get Neutered.) It would not have anything to do with the neutering surgery. They only deal with the parts way below his nose. It may be something to do with the anesthesia, though. I honestly don't know the cause of this, but I'm sure he will be just fine, don't worry! My best guess is that the dog wound affected his breathing and Upper Respiratory system, and then at the vet's office or animal hospital, he may have contracted an Upper Respiratory Infection, which, combined with the anesthesia, resulted in this. Just give him lots of snuggles and keep him warm until you take him. Best of luck.
