Christian's....if God said "Here, hold out your bucket, I have some blessings I want to give you ", but your bucket was already filled up and running over with all the bad things that have happened to you in the past....things that you can't seem to let go of....What would you do?...Would you embrace the full bucket that you already have, because you can't imagine not having them to identify with?...or would you dump it, willing to let it go, so God could fill it up with the Blessing's he has for you?

Since God says that our sins are forgotten as far as the East is from the West, why would I keep the bucket full of my past. If God can forget it, so should I.

I always embrace God's Blessings. He fills my "bucket" everyday.

Great question and it applies not only to Christianity but anyone's life. Often it is easier to keep hold of what we know even if it's harmful rather than let go and take that first step out of our own box we have created for ourselves.

Good question. Holding on to "baggage" is something we're all good at. I would hope I would dump the old in favor of the new.

Absolutley......but remember,
God is not obligated to bless me......I'm obligated to give Him all the praise, honor and glory no matter what's happening in my life....good or bad.
