The basis of a true civilisation is the strength it receives from the collective racial unconsciousness developed in the past . The mythology is stord in the memory of the community and enshrined as folk songs, proverbs and superstitions. As the community advances in reason, it sheds those which are not useful for its future. All great sagas of literature, art, and music. spring from our belonging to a tradiotion of being part of a mythlogocal culture. It seems very true as why religions having no support from past memories of the community becomes a sordid set of assertions founded by so-called prophets. saints etc whose "wisdom"{so-called} is made up of ignorance and stupidity- and also simple people who are subjugated by them. Any comments?

Your assertions have some merit, but I'm not certain what you're trying to explain or what you're searching for. If you are asking whether this is a good argument for the demise of certain religions, then it has some value, but only an intellectually retrospective one. The usefulness of a mythology can only be ascertained in reverse, as an explanation for why people did something, and not a determination for present or future behavior, since if it loses usefulness, people stop turning to it as a guide for their actions.

I do not believe there is a people who do not have a mythology though I have no means of proving my assertion.
My feeling is religion is a kind of fossilized mythology.
