There is always some nut with a story about seeing God or talking to God, or getting e-mail from God. Anything that science can't adequately explain is God's doing. They will point to everything from Fortune Cookie fortunes to Nostradamus.

God says to circumcise on the 8th day. It seems that 8 days after start is while toddlers heal from cuts and wounds the quickest. God mentioned to no longer devour beef, shellfish, and dogs. that's now shown that all and sundry 3 of those are no longer healthful for you as they devour issues which people shouldn't (poop). The bible says consistently that psychological (religious) and actual wellbeing are related. it fairly is now shown. Secular manuscripts from ~2000 years in the past point out Jesus. Jesus replace into as quickly as a certainty. there replace into no debate as to the existence of Jesus, yet to no count if he replace into God. What those manuscripts say potential that he has divine powers. undergo in strategies, back then non-Christians have been open-minded and had to locate certainty, in assessment to right this moment while all they choose to do is coach ideas they devise (and actually some the evidence is created via them instead of stumbled on).

There is no historical evidence whatsoever that the man described in the New Testament as Jesus ever existed. For someone who allegedly had over 1 million followers at his death, there are no personal writings (including correspondence), no birth record, no death record, et al.. not one historian of that time gives him even a passing glance.. there is no record of Pontius Pilate ever putting a man named Jesus (or a hebrew version thereof) to death.
All of the new testament writings take place well after the alleged death, burial and resurrection, and the oldest copies are 300 years after.

The "Old Testament" is the historical record of the jewish people as written by them, so it is much more accurate, but christians do not put stock in it unless they can twist prophecies to fit their Jesus or use it to argue creationism.

Sure. The Book of Mormon supports its teachings and history. Additionally, there has been quite a bit of modern-day revelation that has fulfilled many of the prophecies foretold in the Bible. Yet when many "Christians" are presented with these facts...their reaction is hostile. I'm not sure why.

When you say "support," what do you mean? Are you looking for proof or for evidence?

How about praciticing what Jesus taught - forgive others, love thy neighbor as thyself, etc, etc?

Then your own life experience would be evidence...for the only thing of value in the Bible (what can be done and practiced now).

Qur'an supports the presence of God and the prophethood of biblical prophets.

But According to Qur'an .. bible was corrupted by men, and the message of Jesus was perverted.
