I have had more than a few dreams in my life that have come to pass. I recently dreamed that my grandmother came to me and told me she would die in august of 2006 (this dream occured in January of 2006). She passed on August 13, 2006 (unexpectedly). I have had several other, including a dream about a tall building exploding the night before september 11, and i had a dream i was drowning in a lake three days before a friend of mine died in a drowning accident in a completely other state. I had a dream last night that there was a horrible meteor shower, and planes were crashing all over the city. People were dying, and you could see these huge fire balls falling toward earth. Now, my question is, based on things i have dreamed about before......should i take this seriously? Or do you think it is a symbolic dream of some other meaning?

I have no date for when this will happen. I also looked online and didn't find anything similar. If anyone finds anything, let me know.

This is true. I am posting it several times to get more answers. Also, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't waste your energy writing anything on here.

In the dream, it was at night. We were near an airport, and the sirens were running. Like the sirens they would run during an air raid during the war.

I also have prophetic dreams quite frequently. I don't know why. But I have had them since I was a little girl. When I was 5 I had a dream about a car running off a bridge and sinking under water. It was a scary dream. It bothered me so much my mom finally told me to draw a picture of the dream and then rip it up and "show that nightmare who's boss!" So I sat down with my crayons and drew the car. I even drew the license plate. That night on the news they reported on a car that had run off of a local bridge. The drivers were killed. You could hardly even tell it was a vehicle. It was mostly twisted metal. But the license plate was still on it and it read the exact numbers and letters I had drawn in my picture. It scared my mom half to death. She taped the ripped up picture I'd drawn back together and saved it. I tend to have these dreams in spells. None for a couple of years. Then maybe 3 or 4 a night for several months.

I don't know why it happens. I wish it didn't. It is terrifying. I believe God has a reason for showing me these things but I still do not understand it.

What I have learned is this: It is hard to predict which dreams will come true. I have a lot of dreams that never happen (or I never know about happening). The dream you had last night could be just another run of the mill nightmare. A scary one, but not a prophetic one. Or it might be.

I will probably get some thumbs down junk here for saying all of this. I don't often tell people because it's feared. Some think it isn't the work of God. I disagree. I think it's happening for a reason. It isn't my fault... just like it isn't your fault... we can't control it.

I understand how you feel. It is scary. But try to think... you have had prophetic dreams and you have had regular dreams as well, I assume. This is probably one of those. Take a deep breath. Find your center. It sounds more like a symbolic dream to me.

Please do not take them seriously. The Bible is the only source of prophecy. There are many false prophets out there trying to convince others that they have had new enlightenment of the future. Only God spoke to certain prophets in the Bible accounts that had results that were always true. You are just having dreams from things you either talk about or see in the news or from past memories. As for your grandmother, the dead are dead. She has no way of coming to life to speak with you now. The day will come, however, when she will be resurrected and be brought back to life. Then you can talk to her directly. because both of you will be living on a paradise forever where no suffering, wars or death will ever occur again.

Depends....think back as carefully as you can--did your previous prophetic dreams have any specific markers (color, accuracy to real life, speed, length, anything) that would let you tell the difference between them and "normal" dreams? If so, and if your most recent dream has those markers, then try to get as much information as possible from the dream (could you tell the season? any time indications at all), and plan accordingly. Oh, and share on here again.

Revelations says the stars will be thrown to Earth. It says there will be earthquakes, storms, natural disasters and wars at the end of time.

I don't know about your dream, but you should seriously consider reading revelations throughouly.

I've had dreams that--after I read the Bible-- suddenly lined up with what it said.

Not that I'm discounting your dreams, but one thing to concider is how many dreams have you had that did not come to pass?
