Jehovah Witnesses are very mislead. They teach from a magazine called the watchtower. I bet they don't even know when it was made and who the founder was. They believe they are the one true religion. Only 144,000 JW's are going to heaven. They need prayer for mental revelation and wisdom.

First of all I would like to say that Jehovah's Witness DO believe in the Great Tribulation. Secondly, the question you asked about 144,000 going to heaven Rev. 7:4-8 states the number of individuals bound for heaven. It gives the EXACT number. By stating sealed 144,000. This does not mean that you or I are not bound for everlasting life, because it goes on to say in Rev 7:9 that there is also a great crown, a number that no man can number ( note it does not say these are bound for a heavenly reward) these are the ones chosen to live life in Paradise Earth. When sickness , war, pain, and death is wiped away. In Rev 7:14 the scripture goes on to further explain that the great crowd of people come out of the Great Tribulation. So just to let you know, Jehovah's Witness's do believe in the Great Tribulation. I hope that answers your question. Take Care.

First off let me tell you that we do believe in the Great Tribulation. And why do we say that there are only 144,000 going to heaven? Because Revelation 14:1-5 (and other scriptures) tells us the that is the number that has been selected. I am not one of those bought from the earth to receive the gift of heavenly life and I am quite satisfied to know that I will live here on a cleansed earth without sin and death, forever.

They do believe in the Great Tribulation. As for the 144,00 going to heaven that is because only a certain type of Gods followers go to heaven, apparently there is limit of real estate in heaven. However the rest of the Jehovah witness will live in a paradise on Earth.

You receive some good answers above correcting you assumption as regard the witnesses and the tribulation, so now ask yourself this. With all that is happening, in every country, to where we no longer feel safe even in our own homes, does it seem like we are in the great tribulation, right now? At one time, we could leave our door unlocked at night. Now, we cannot even walk out to the mailbox without fear of an assault, even in upscale neighborhoods. On the news last week, a woman went out to start her can to warm it up for going to work. As she went to re-enter her home, she was hit from behind, assaulted, and robbed, in a neighborhood of upper middle income families.

If I may, I know that group and you seem to have misunderstood.
They do accept the idea of a period called 'the great tribulation.'
Its in all their publications.
And NO there are not more than 144,000 going to heaven.
Oh yes, there are more than a 144,000 saved ....but only 144,000 go to heaven.
The rest are Psalms 37:29.

Every Jehovah's Witness is familiar with and believes in "the great tribulation", as the term is used in the bible.

The fact is that the vast majority of Witnesses hope to enjoy life ON EARTH forever, rather than in heaven. Jehovah's Witnesses understand heaven to refer to the dwelling place of spirit creatures such as Jesus and the angels. They understand the Scriptures to teach that exactly 144,000 humans will join Christ Jesus as kings and priests to administer God's Kingdom (which will soon replace all earthly governments).
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
(Revelation 14:1) Lamb [Jesus] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
(Revelation 20:6) they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him

The men and women who make up the 144,000 are selected by God from among two thousand years of Christians. Over whom will they rule? Over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”

Hell is NOT someplace/something mankind needs to fear; there is no suffering in the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

Almighty Jehovah God selects those few who have the heavenly calling. Each person "feels" his own hope and each person's hope remains unquestioned by his fellow Christians. Still the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%*) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

they believe Jesus came back to earth around 1910 and the judgement of nations started them

Jesus himself said his return would be like the lightning that goes form the east and the west... and .. every eye shall see him... so there will be no question... certainly not a secret return

from there... they kinda go downhill fast... they have an anonymously translated bible.. anonymous because the qualifications of the transaltors just aint there and it would be an embarassment to name them

What difference does it make to you what they believe or not? There are lots and lots of folks, myself included, who don't believe one word of the bible.
Worry about you, and don't be a hater...
