God put us here on earth to love Him, to worship Him, to serve Him and fellowship with Him. We were created for His pleasure.

We were created to be friends of YHVH. I believe part of why we were created had to do with sex, freedom, and love. That YHVH was trying to communicate to the universe some truths about His love. (And that was what got Satan all riled up.)
